Cheryl brings experience and integrity to the job.

I bring a strong set of education, skills and experience to the responsible practice of being a Notary Public. In Sooke, I am the only practising member of the Society of Notaries Public of BC.

I feel privileged and excited to be the Notary Public in Sooke. I have lived in Sooke for over 15 years, but now I will also be working here. I look forward to being part of the business activity of this growing community. I enjoy Sooke as a unique and creative community ~ population 10,000 and growing, on the beautiful west shore of Vancouver Island.

My education and business background --  including banking investments and loans, real estate and CMHC, product sales and small business --  leads me to this fine profession of notarizing (legitimizing) documents.

I hold a Justice Administration diploma from Mount Royal College in Calgary including an introduction to law and with skills in interviewing, human relations, justice supervision and youth in conflict.


 

My Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University (2004) provides valuable expertise in accounting, finance, marketing, business law, international business, strategy, communication, and entrepreneurial expertise.

My Notaries in Sooke office opened in March 2010. My office is centrally located in Sooke's town centre, at 1-6726 West Coast Road (in the same plaza as the Little Vienna Bakery and Evergreen Physiotherapy).

As a member of The Society of Notaries for BC I am one of 20 Notaries Public (as distinct from lawyers) who practice in Greater Victoria.

I look forward to making a positive contribution to the business community in Sooke.
